The 4.9 K-Factor sprinklers are decorative, fast response, frangible bulb sprinklers designed for use in residential occupancies. When aesthetics and optimized flow characteristics are the major consideration, the 4.9 K-Factor should be the first choice.

3.0 K-Factor

3.0 K-Factor 

The 3.0 K-Factor has been designed to optimize flows (avoid over discharging) specifically for small areas up to 14 ft x 14 ft (4.3 m x 4,3 m). The required residential flow rates can then be delivered with the use of smaller pipe sizes and reduced water supply requirements.

6.9 K-Factor

6.9 K-Factor, ¾” NPT 

When higher flow demands are required for residential sprinklers used in an NFPA 13 design, the large 6.9 K-Factor is an attractive choice. Although primarily intended where residential sprinklers are to be used in an NFPA 13 design, it can also be used in wet pipe residential sprinkler systems for one- and two-family dwellings and mobile homes, and for wet pipe residential sprinkler systems for occupancies up to, and including, four stories.
