Sidewall Residential Fire Sprinklers

RAPID RESPONSE sidewall fire sprinklers are often the product of choice when it’s difficult to access the ceiling or where freezing is a potential issue. Additionally, sidewall sprinklers can provide cost savings in certain situations where it is not economical to run piping across a room.

4.2 K-Factor

The 4.2 K-Factor are intended for the use in the following scenarios: 

  • Wet and dry pipe residential sprinkler systems for one- and two-family dwellings and mobile homes. 
  • Wet and dry pipe residential sprinkler systems for residential occupancies, up to and including, four stories in height. 
  • Wet and dry pipe residential sprinkler systems for the residential portions of any occupancy.

Temperatures: 155ºF (68ºC), 175ºF (79ºC)

4.4 K-Factor 

The 4.4 K-Factor provides the required residential flow rates at reduced pressures, enabling smaller pipe sizes and water supply requirements.

5.6 K-Factor

The 5.6 K-Factor is a large orifice sprinkler which is primarily intended for residential use where a higher water flow demand is required (NFPA 13R and NFPA 13) and can meet those requirements with less pressure and smaller pipe sizes.

5.8 K-Factor

The 5.8 K-Factor is a large orifice sprinkler which is primarily intended for residential use where a higher water flow demand is required (NFPA 13R and NFPA 13) and can meet those requirements with less pressure and smaller pipe sizes.
